As Trump weighed the Iranian strike, the B-2 bomber took off from us
The B-2 stealth bomber has taken off from the US and headed towards the Pacific Ocean, several news outlets reported as President Donald Trump weighs America’s involvement in the Israeli-Iran war.
The move, taken up by the Flight Tracking Service on Saturday, shows the administration has air force bombers in place if necessary for a strike to Iran, the Wall Street Journal reported. The report says that the plane with a refueling tanker could be heading to a base in Guam.
Speculation about the possibility of a US strike aimed at Iran’s nuclear program focuses on the B-2 needed to drop a 30,000-pound bomb (a so-called bunkerbuster) if Trump decides to target Iran’s critically enhanced uranium enrichment site to Fordow. Israel is trying to destroy Iran’s nuclear capabilities, but there is no such weapon.

The New York Times appeared to have multiple B-2s in the air, facing across the Pacific Ocean from Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri. The Times cited a flight tracker post about social media and air traffic control communications.
The Pentagon did not immediately reply to a message seeking comment.
Trumps will return to the White House on Saturday to meet with his national security team.

The US President sends mixed signals and we continue to be involved in table conflicts, discounting European efforts to ensure diplomatic resolution between Israel and Iran.
“I’m giving them a certain period,” Trump told reporters Friday. “I think two weeks will be the biggest.”
