Baseball fans fall from the stands at PNC Park during Pirates Cues game

Baseball fans fell more than 20 feet to the ground in seven innings of the game Wednesday night from the correct field breech at PNC Park in Pittsburgh Pirates And the Chicago Cubs.

The team issued a statement on their X account after the game.

“In seven innings of the match at PNC Park tonight, an adult man fell from the correct field breaker to the field of play,” the Pirates said.

“The Pittsburgh EMS, the Pirates and Cubs training team and other PNC Park staff responded and managed care. He was taken to Allegheny General Hospital. There is no further information at this time.
