Bayern Munich agrees to a £65.5 million deal to sign Louis Diaz from Liverpool

Bayern Munich has agreed to a £65.5 million contract from Liverpool to sign Louis Diaz, according to multiple reports.

Columbia International has expressed its desire to leave Anfield and is currently set to sign a four-year contract at Allianz Arena.

Diaz’s move ends the three and a half year spell at Liverpool. He lifted the Premier League titles, the FA Cup and the EFL Cup twice. He also experienced a loss in the 2022 Champions League final.

The forwards are hoping to have a similar impact on the Bundesliga champions, scoring 41 goals in 148 games for Liverpool.

Diaz is set to sign Bayern’s third transfer window, following a season in which he regained the Bundesliga crown from Bayer Leberkusen.

Vincent Company’s men signed Leberkusen centre back Jonathan Tah and Hoffenheim teenage midfielder Tom Bischoff. Diaz will help fill the gap left by veteran Thomas Muller, who ultimately made his appearance at the club at the Club World Cup this month, as the 25-year association with Bayern is over.

Liverpool can replace Dias with Real Madrid’s Rodrigo Goes.

More appropriately, Diaz’s departure is seen as key to Liverpool’s potential plan to make a record-breaking British move for Newcastle star Alexander Isaac.

Isaac told Newcastle about him A desire to explore opportunities to leave St. James Park. Swedish International scored 27 goals in all competitions last season. This included his second goal at Wembley as Newcastle defeated Liverpool 2-1 in the EFL Cup to secure a major domestic trophy for 70 years.

A £150 million bid is believed to be required for Newcastle to begin a conversation about ISAK sales. For now, Magpies claim he is not on sale.
