Ben Shelton’s plea to Morgan Stanley stays with sister expansion Wimbledon

After defeating Hungarian tennis player Marton Fucsovics in a straight set in his third match Wimbledon On Saturday, Shelton made a pitch for investment bank Morgan Stanley, allowing him to stroll around another week of his fortune.

“It’s been going well this week. It’s not just here. We have a great team. My parents are here. My girlfriend is here. My sister is here too. She’s here for every match she’s played this tournament.

“But she has been working in the United States since Monday. She works for Morgan Stanley.”
The revelation was met by boos from the crowd, but Shelton paused to make his pitch.
“If everyone has some (connections) and can get a few extra days off to her so she can (and stay).

In fact, the heartwarming plea worked.
“Yeah, did you take a week off or what?” Shelton said in a video posted on her Instagram story. In response, his sister was seen jumping up and down in excitement, apparently confirming that her PTO was approved.
“Scream, Morgan Stanley,” Shelton said as the video was over.

Shelton won all nine sets he played for the All England Club last week, moving on to the fourth round, facing Italy’s Lorenzo Sonego.
