But the committee to Hendrickson’s training camp could potentially encourage the 30-year-old ink to facilitate the long-term process.

Hendrickson said he was in Jacksonville, Florida last week, where he explained the contract situation from the perspective of the Bengals.
“I spent the last 30 days at my home in Cincinnati, where Cincinnati crosses the river from the stadium,” Hendrickson said. The Bengals are not seen in the best light of this offseason. Shemar Stewart also didn’t see this offseason as he dealt with similar contractual issues. He had contract language issues that allowed him to void guaranteed money, but he ultimately signed a $18.7 million rookie contract last week with $10.4 million as a signature bonus.
It is unclear whether or when Hendrickson and the Bengals will reach a common position, but a step in the right direction is to put all their might into the building to prepare for the 2025 season with his teammates.
Hendrickson, who has been making the Pro Bowl with Cincinnati every year since 2021, spent the first four of eight NFL seasons with the New Orleans Saints, but had 17.5 bags last season, as he did in 2023.

He’s solidifying himself as one of the league’s best pass rushes and he’s looking to get paid that way.

The two Bengals’ AFC North Rivals, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns, also paid two pass rush studs this offseason. Miles Garrett of the Browns was the first on a deal that paid $40 million per season to become the league’s highest-paid non-quarter.
