Bill Maher says no to AOC 2028
“Real-Time” Host Bill Maher He hasn’t gathered behind Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as the 2028 Democratic candidate.
Maher began a panel discussion on Friday, and is a well-known “team” member and I-Vt. Senator Bernie Sanders, who attracted a large crowd like “Fight Oligarchies” across the country, urging one audience member to clack out loud.
“Thank you,” Maher responded to the audience. “I have the same guy. I call him a ‘always wrong’ guy. I’m kidding. ”
“But again I feel like these shiny objects Democrats chase. I think Bernie has appeared at Coachella no matter where you are. It’s not about the crowds. “Who will show up on Election Day? I just don’t think it’s a ticket.”

He knocked towards the 25-hour marathon speech given by Senator DN.J., who said Democrats were “smacking each other.”

“And you really don’t think AOC should be a candidate?” Maher asked.
“It’s not my job to choose who the candidate will be,” replied Smith.
“Yeah, that’s my (work),” Maher said. “It’s not – it shouldn’t be her. It shouldn’t be her.”

Ocasio-Cortez has surged into recent democratic primary surveys, making it second to former vice president One Kamala Harris. Famous pollsters Nate Silver said This week, she is currently the most likely candidate to win a Democratic nomination in 2028, but Ocasio-Cortez has not shown that she is running for president.
Early on the show, Maher pointed to a viral moment from the AOC Sanders rally where anti-Israeli protesters dropped a “Free Palestine” banner on top of the American flag, and were kicked out by police, and Rally fans chanted “Free Palestine” and forced Sanders to stop his speech.
“I’m worried that it’s where the Democrats are, that this is the next stupid hill to die,” Maher said. “So, I’d like to ask about the “Free Palestine” hymn.
“If those moronic people had knowledge, they would say ‘free Palestine from Hamas’,” author Douglas Murray replied with consent. “At least they’ll do that.”
