Boxing Results: Mielnicki Jr. shuts out against undefeated Kamil Gardzielik


Middleweight Vitto ‘White Magic’ Mirnikki Jr. (21-1-1, 12 KOs) easily beat Poland’s Kamil Gardzirik (19-1, 4 KOS) to score all 10 rounds for a unanimous decision, and scored his only knockdown on Saturday night at the Prudential Centre in Newark, New Jersey.

In the first round, Meerniki controlled the entire round with a jab. In the third round, Mirniki landed the right on his chin, dropping Garzierik from judge Dave Franciosi with an eight count and blood from his nose.

From the fourth to seventh round, Mielnicki used jabs and some bodywork and always backed up Garzielik. In the 8th and 9th rounds, Miel Nicky continued to film the rounds every time with a jab. In the 10th and final rounds, Garzierik threw a punch in the first minute before finally returning to defense. Miel Nikki had an easy evening overall.

Scores were 100-89, 100-89, and 100-89.

In his co-star, middleweight Jahi Tucker (15-1-1, 6 KOs) defeated Southpaw Lorenzo Track’Simpson (15-3, 9 KOs) with a unanimous decision in the 10th round.

In the second round, Simpson landed a jab and rebelled against Tucker’s gust of wind in the final minute. In the third, Simpson only throws one at a time, while Tucker throws two or three. In the sixth round, Tucker landed some uppercuts as Simpson had little attacks from him and Simpson appeared to be covered in them.

In the final round of the 10th, Tucker took another round, followed by a slop and clinch.

Scores were 96-94, 97-93, and 97-93. Eric Dali was a judge.

Heavyweight Damien “Polish Hassar” Naiba (16-0, 10 KOs) knocked out Marcin ‘Misiek’ Siwy (25-1-1, 12 KOs) at the end of the eighth round as the match was cut in the 10th round at the end of the eighth round.

In the second round, a head collision cut off Knyba’s far higher left eyebrow. In the third round, referee Harvey Dock warned Knyba twice for hitting the back of his head. In the fifth round, Kuniba landed his body rights and injuring Shiwi halfway through the round.

In the sixth round, Shiwi suffered a cut in his left eyebrow on the right right tick. In the seventh round, Knyba used a jab to exacerbate the cut. In the eighth round, Knyba landed half a dozen unanswered punches on his head and several on his body. At the end of the round, the Ring doctor stopped it for Katsiwi, who suffered in the sixth round.

Super welterweight Dwyke “genius” Flemings Jr. (11-0, 10 KOS) stopped Demien “Popi” Fernandez (15-7, 5 KOs) at 2:09 in the first round of the scheduled eighth round.

In the first round, Flemings landed dozens of unanswered punches. A few seconds later, the body rights dropped Fernandez for an eight count from Judge Harvey Dock. Fernandez fought back and landed a gust of punches. A few seconds later, again, a body shot dropped Fernandez for an eight count. For the third time, Flemings dropped Fernandez with a body shot and called for a stop by a referee dock.

Heavyweight Norman Neely (16-1, 11 KOs) knocked out James Willis (6-2-1, 5 KOs) at 2:08 in the first round of the scheduled eighth round.

In the last and final first round, Neely landed a large right on Willis’ chin, and Judge Eric Dali intervened and called for a halt. Was it an early halt? Willis thought so.

The ultra-lightweight Brandanley (30-0, 23 Kos) made a biased, unanimous decision on the fightless Elias macho ‘Damien Araujo (22-6, 9 KOs) in eight dull rounds.

In the first round, Araujo ran around the ring and rarely threw punches. In the second round, Lee landed a body shot and headed to Araujo for the race.

In the fifth round, Lee landed the boundary to the left and went to Araujo to search for a way. Judge Eric Dali retrieved him for five minutes.

Seventh, Lee was the first to think of her headshot, so she managed to land a headshot, but still couldn’t mix it up. In the 8th and final round, Araujo rushed off without landing anything, and Lee landed four punches on his head, enough to make the round.

The judges scored 80-72, 80-72, and 80-72.

Super Bantamweight Lisandra Contreras (1-0) scored a lonely knockdown by beating the Montana Weems (1-1, 1 KO) with a four-round unanimous decision.

At the midpoint of the first round, Contreras landed a hard left hook, then continued right on the chin, with Weems going with 30 minutes left for an eight count from umpire Mary Glover. In the second round, Contreras won in the close round.

In the third round, Weems returned and landed Contrera in a close round. In the fourth and final rounds, Contreras landed a heavy punch over the shorter weem.

Scores were 40-35, 40-35, and 40-35.

Super welterweight Carshad Elliott (5-0, 4 KOs) defeated Titus sniper ‘Ash (1-1, 1 KOs) with a four-round unanimous decision.

In the first three rounds, Elliott had an edge. On the ropes, in the fourth and final rounds, Ash resumed cutting Elliott’s left eyebrow.

Scores 38-35, 38-35, and 38-35. Mary Glover was a judge.

Welterweight Muadh ‘Nim’ Abdus-Salaam (1-0) won a four-round majority decision over Roberto Cantos (1-4).

In the first two rounds, Abdus-Salaam had the upper hand. In the third, it was Kantos. In the fourth final round, Kantos missed Abdas Salaam in the first two minutes, but Abdas Salaam lost the last one by landing a large right on his chin.

Scores 38-38, 39-37, and 40-36. Harvey Dock was a judge.

Light heavyweight Southpaw Arjun Iseni (4-0, 4 KOS) will be Kaine Tomlinson, Jr. at 1:03 in the second round of the scheduled four rounds. He stopped (1-1, 1 KO) and recorded three knockdowns.

In the first round, Arseny dropped Tomlinson early and left the lead on the lower rope for an eight count from umpire Mary Glover. Again in the final minute, a chin-reed left from Arseny went to Tomlinson for an additional eight counts from umpire Glover.

In the second round, Arseny recorded a third knockdown straight to the left and left on the chin, forcing the referee grabber to call for a stop without a count.

The ring announcer was Ramblin Ralph.
