Brentford is worth £62.5m for the second bid from Manchester United.
Brentford declined an improved transfer offer from Manchester United for Cameroon International Brian Mbemo.
United’s latest proposal is worth up to £602.5 million, and consists of £55 million upfront and an additional £7.5 million with performance-based add-ons.
This was rejected earlier this month following previous bids of £45 million and a potential bonus of £10 million.
The Premier League giants are looking to bolster their offensive options and have already secured Matheus Cunha from the wolves for £62.5 million. However, Brentford is reportedly being held back with similar guarantee fees before considering a breakup with a star forward who only has one year left on his current contract.
The 25-year-old Mbeumo enjoyed an outstanding campaign last season, earning his personal best of 20 goals and adding nine assists.
His performance caught the eye of several clubs, including Tottenham, whose new manager, formerly in charge of Brentford, Thomas Frank, is understood to be eager to reunite.

Additionally, European Champions League clubs are believed to be monitoring the winger’s situation.
If he moves to Old Trafford, Mbeumo will reunite with his Cameroonian teammate and United goalkeeper Andre Onana.
However, the club signing him must plan his absence during the Africa Cup of Nations, which begins in December. Cameroon will face Gabon in the opening group match on December 24th. This means that Mbemo may not be available for up to four weeks in the 2025-26 season.
Mbeumo first joined Brentford from Troy on the French side in 2019, when the club was still in the championship. Since then, he has scored 70 goals in 242 appearances and played a key role in his promotion to the 2021 Premier League.
