Brian Norman Jr. vs. Jinsaki WBO titles will be competing in the film in Tokyo on June 19th

Sasaki Jin against WBO welterweight champion Brian Norman JR’s next title defense #2 will be taking place in Tokyo on June 19th.

WBO 147-LB champion Norman Jr. (27-0, 21 Kos) is of course Best pay distanceTAVERAVER. Norman Jr. sees this battle with Sasaki (19-1-1, 17 Kos) as a way to boost his international appeal, make good money and build on the stars.

Jake Donovan reports That Norman Junior Sasaki will be the headliner to fight Christian Araneta, who fights Sanonsack Simsuri with an undercard. These two will fight for the vacant IBF junior flyweight belt.

Stuck

Norman Jr. and his father, Brian Sr., wanted to set up a unified battle with unified welterweight champion “Boots” Ennis, but the fight doesn’t seem feasible. Boot promoter Eddie Hearn chose not to meet Norman Jr.’s asking price last September. Matchroom promoter Hahn has succumbed to his negotiations and chose not to raise the offer from $1.7 million to $2.2 million.

Hahn’s stubbornness shows that he expects to get Norman Junior at a bargain basement discount price. That never works. Ennis needs to wake up and smell the coffee and realizes he can’t get the chance to fight for more unified battles in order to achieve his lonely goal of becoming an indisputable welterweight champion.

Since Jaron’s victory with WBA 147 pound champion Aymantas Stanionis on April 12, he has no intention of offering Norman Junior the kind of money he hopes to get for unity. In other words, he is considered a challenger, not a champion. It will not work with Norman Jr. and his father, Brian Sr.

Norman Jr. doesn’t mention the type of money he expects from a fight with Boots Ennis, but his original asking price at $2.2 million could have increased to $3 million. Hearn will kick himself for not paying what Brian Jr. wanted last September. Because it’s likely that the low price doesn’t exist anymore.

Sasaki’s profile

Sasuki, a 23-year-old native of Japan, has not fought many prominent fighters in his seven-year career. Four years ago, Sasaki was knocked out in the 11th round on October 19, 2021 by undefeated Andy Hiraka.

Jin was ruled by the elderly fighter Hiraoka throughout the fight and lost almost every round before halting in the 11th round. However, Sasaki was 19 at that time. Since that fight he has won eight of his last nine fights. The only wound was a six-round draw against Kotaro Sekin in 2022.
