Britney Griner reveals disturbing details about his cellmates in a Russian prison

Britney smirks While she has described what life is like while in a Russian detention facility in the past, she has revealed some horrifying details as to why one of her mobile people is in prison with her.

Griner appeared in Cam Newton “Funky Friday” A podcast where Atlanta Dreamstar discussed her time incarceration. In that conversation, Griner explained how the prisoners were not separated based on the crimes they committed.

So she said that most of the inmates were in prison for murder and drugs, but one of her early phonemen was there for sleazy reasons.

“I had a cellmate at first. I thought something was off with her,” Griner said. “She acted like a child, but she was a grown woman, but she acted like an adolescent child, and she was burning herself, and we found the fact that she was selling videos of her husband and her children online.

Griner added that the nature of her cellmate’s crime led others in prison to “torture” her.

“There’s not much torture from prisoners with girls on the side of women,” Griner said. “But if you’re there for something like that, yeah, you’ll be tortured. And they’ll put a cigarette on her and sleep at her door.”

Griner went on to say she is “angry” about prisons that have not been separated by crime.

“I really couldn’t sleep at night because she sings at night and does weird things,” Griner said of her roommate.

Griner shared details Of last year’s tragic experiences while sitting in with ABC News “Good Morning America” in 2024.

She believed that “life ended here” after realising she left her bags in a Russian airport in February 2022.

“I was very scared,” she said in an emotional interview.

Griner was transferred to a Russian prison about 300 miles in Moscow after being sentenced to nine years. She served nearly ten months after that sentence before being released as part of the prisoner exchange.

“The mattress had a huge blood stain, there was no soap or toilet paper.

Since returning to Japan, Griner has acquired a new perspective on life in the United States, which was fully exhibited at the 2024 Parisiolmímímímímín.

“I didn’t think I was here,” she said through Reuters. “And it represents when I was here and even fought hard to stand here to earn money for my country.

The 34-year-old Griner averages 10.3 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game. She is a nine-time All-Star, two-time scoring champion, eight-time block leader and a leader in her career.
