Burroui will close two locations in Metro Detroit, Michigan
Texas-based gastropub chain Burlouis has closed two locations in Metro Detroit, Michigan, USA.
The affected location is in Livonia, Laurel Park Place, and in Auburn Hills, Great Lake Crossing.

The closure will reduce the presence of Michigan’s Bar Louis to just two locations, at Clinton Township, the Mall in Partridge Creek and Royal Oak.
According to an internal memo, the company said: “The decision to close this location does not reflect the possibility of you, this team, the management of this location, or the Balui brand.
According to the memo, the closure was WXYZ-TV.
These developments surprised both the staff and patrons. One employee reportedly found a closure notice when they arrived for work at the Auburn Hills location.
Known for its craft burgers, salads, barbies, appetizers and entrees, Barui was founded in 2009.
The chain operates in 19 US states, and its website emphasizes that no two Louie venues look the same.
This is not the first time Louie has had to make a tough decision about its operations.
In January 2020, the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, closing more than 30 inadequate locations.
