“Parents should have to endure unimaginable pain, and the sadness of learning a child has been killed,” Hochman added in a statement. “Oscar simply got on the train and he or his family knew he would never return.”

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office filed Garcia Aquino on Monday on one felony charge of sexual assault with intent to commit a sexual offence following the alleged sexual assault of a 16-year-old boy in Palmdale in February 2024.

Luna said Garcia Aquino is “a youth travel soccer coach at Hurricane Valley Boys Soccer Club in the Silmar area and works in various age divisions,” and “he has not reported a criminal history.”
He also coached the alleged 16-year-old victim. KLTA I reported it by quoting Luna.

“As part of this investigation, we are asking if there are any potential victims of Garcia Aquino, and they are there… to advance to the abused children’s troops in the juvenile department of the Los Angeles Police Department,” Hochman added.
