Call from Nahir Albright for his minor belt of Ernesto Mercado

Ernesto Mercado called out Nahil Albright and said he wanted to take the belt from him. Albright (17-2, 7 KOS) won the vacant WBC USA Silver Super Light Welterweight title last Saturday in Norfolk, Virginia, with a 10-round majority-decisive victory.

That’s not the main belt that fighters normally want to win. Mercado (17-0, 16 Kos) doesn’t need any excuses to become interested in fighting Albright. Because his popularity has increased after his victory over previously undefeated Kelvin.

Mercado challenges Albright

It’s unlikely that Albright will handle Melcado as he wants to convert his victory over Davis to a big payday with more notable fighters. He doesn’t get a famous name at 135, 140, or 147 to fight him, but he can do better than Ernesto.

Keyshaun rematch with a target

Nahil Albright, 29, says he wants a rematch with Keyshaun. He lost in 2023 with a 10-round majority decision. He hurt Davis in the eighth round and dominated the final four rounds. He seemed to have done enough to defeat Keyshaun, but the judges gave it to the fighters who promoted it at the highest rank.

Keyshawn then ruled Zero as he complained when his victory was taken away and tested positive for the banned substance. He sounds like he’s been unfairly treated by his victory being taken away and says he’s going to buy a “home.” He sounded like he couldn’t understand why his victory was taken away to test positive for a banned drug. Albright’s new fame

Albright reveals that Keyshaun and Keon Davis jumping over him in his dressing room gave him more fame. It’s not the biggest way to become famous in the boxing world, but it worked. The combination of his victory over Davis and claiming that DB3 attacked him put him on the map.
