Can Crawford really conquer three divisions against the P4P King?
Terrence Crawford is in an impossible position to raise three weight classes on September 13th to challenge what fans believe is Canelo Alvarez, the true pound pound pound pound pound pound king. It’s a size mismatch.
Battle of Israil Madrimov: Warning
Crawford had already reached the physical maximum he could do in August last year, when he jumped to 154 and with his thin frame. It was one heavy division where the buds rose. He seemed to lose the fight, so he failed that test. If they were generous, they could have scored a draw.
Crawford didn’t stay at 154, long enough to say he adapted to weight classes. One fight with Madrimov, a pure boxer, did not make Terence a real junior middleweight. So he must still be considered welterweight of size. That is, he’s up three weight classes to challenge the natural, ultra-middleweight Canelo.
“Bad is one of those who rock, especially when he doubts him,” Chris Argieri said. Fighting Hub TVdiscusses his views on the battle between Canelo Alvarez vs Terrence Crawford. “It’s a really interesting match. I think of it more psychologically than anything else.”
When did you suspect Crawford in the past? He has always been a favorite of his fights up until now. When he fought Errol Spence, fans knew he was fighting a shell made in a car accident.
Size mismatch: Crawford vs. Canelo
Alvarez (63-2-2, 39 Kos) is bigger, stronger and far more experienced than Crawford’s level of opposition. The lack of experience with Bud’s high level of opposition is something fans overlook. It is important to remember that Crawford had top ranks for most of his career and was well cared for by their matchmakers.
“Terence has raised three weight classes. He had a bit of a problem with (Isler) Madrimov (when moving one weight class to 154). Of course, it’s Canelo, but when I think about it from a psychological perspective, it’s something I don’t know.
