Canadian Christian women’s basketball team punished allegations of conflict abuse by trans opponents

Women’s Basketball Team Columbia Bible College (CBC) – Evangelical Mennonite Bible College in Abbotsford, British Columbia – is currently facing sanctions by PacWest, a campaign conference that fought allegations of abuse against transgender opponents earlier this season.

CBC Women’s Basketball Head Coach Taylor Craget is currently suspended and the school has announced the upcoming Pack West Championship after a recent investigation into an incident that occurred in a match against Vancouver Island University (VIU) on October 25th. “Pacwest publicly states that it has concluded its investigation. CBC is deeply disappointed with Pacwest’s decision. They do not believe that the appropriate process has been followed or the outcome is fair. As a result, Pacwest We are taking steps to review the decision. We will not comment any further at this time.

During the match on October 25th, VIU trans athlete Harriet McKenzie said that Claughet “catched one of our athletic staff and went to Tillard about what I shouldn’t be allowed to play.” He insisted. Mackenzie filed these claims in an Instagram post on October 30th.

Mackenzie alleged that she was intentionally fouled to the ground by a CBC player.

“I can see head coach Craiget being praised for his support, not playing right in front of the ball, chucking two way at No. 13, and head coach Craigett.

Clagett posted her statement on Instagram, claiming that Mackenzie’s statement is inaccurate.

When the two teams were set to play each other again in a pair of games in early January, VIU refused to participate, citing the alleged incident on October 25th. VIU in a statement provided to Fox News Digital asked PacWest not to punish the team for confiscation.

After news of the forfeiture, CBC provided Fox News Digital with a statement denying Mackenzie’s allegations.

“This was amazing news for us,” the statement read. “CBC stands for safe play for everyone. The accusations that CBC, its coaches, players and fans are a safety threat are given misinformation rather than simply true.”

A letter written by CBC players obtained by Fox News Digital has denounced VIU’s teams “personal attacks,” “honorable comments,” and even “violent comments” against coaches.

“Videos and letters posted by members of the VIU women’s basketball team in the past three months directly violate several rules stated in Article 17.2 of the manual. Pack West has said it was directed at coaches. It led to comments that incite violence and hatred,” the letter read.

“All all allegations made by VIU players regarding our team and coaches should have been communicated directly to Pack West officials only. They should not be uploaded publicly to social media.”

The letter has even been called a VIU player statement “misinformation.”

Trump’s recent executive order in the United States says publicly funded agencies that allow trans athletes to participate in women’s or women’s sports will lose federal funding.
