Canadian Prime Minister Liberal Party defeats elections by Trump threat
Canada’s Liberal Party is predicted to win the country’s federal elections for the fourth consecutive time.
The Liberal Party is led by Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, who took over after Justin Trudeau’s resignation.
As of the end of Monday, the liberals were leading the parliament with a 137-seat victory, as opposed to the 98 seats held by the Conservatives.
The party must win 172 seats to hold the majority.
