Casino introducing Franprix and Monoprix retail brands in Morocco


The French convenience retailer Casino Group has partnered with Morocco’s H&S Invest to introduce retail brands to Morocco.

The collaboration is set to establish 210 Franprix and Monoprix stores nationwide by 2035.

The Alliance is part of the casino group’s international growth plan through its franchise.

The group is responsible for business across 30 countries and has already worked with 472 franchise outlets in and outside the mainland France, contributing to 3.5% of its net sales in 2024.

H&S Invest sees partnerships as an opportunity to diversify its retail sector.

The introduction of Franprix and Monoprix is ​​expected to improve Morocco’s convenient retail industry.

Franprix operates convenience stores in cities and towns, while Monoprix offers food, apparel, household items, beauty products and leisure items.

The first store was launched in 2026 and offers a handpicked selection of fresh products and a substantial amount of local products.
