The Advanced System debuts with the all-new Mercedes-Benz CLA, marking the first launch of Mercedes-Benz MB.OS operating system. Cerence AI’s solution is the foundation of MBUX Virtual Assistant and supports conversational capabilities across 25 languages.

Cerence AI can also provide more natural and empathic interactions by MBUX analyzing the user’s voice and responding from Cerence’s neural text in a variety of emotional speaking styles through SPEEC/TTS technology. The 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA Electric sedan featuring this new MBux system is scheduled to be released in the fall of 2025 and will be available in a hybrid version at the beginning of 2026.
