After the opening kickoff ended as a Lions fumble, Lance needed five plays to go 28 yards for a fourth and two touchdown pass to get his first touchdown of the year on the board in Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, Allen, who is fighting for Jared Goff’s backup position, did not have the biggest performance to kick off the preseason slate. He went 9/14 for 91 yards, but threw two intercepts, the second killing a good looking drive.
The veteran running for Detroit fan favorite Craig Reynolds was able to score a touchdown in one of the 10 rushing events of the night. Also rookie receiver Isaac Teslaa had two catches for 46 yards.
A mistake is expected in the first game of the NFL in the preseason, but there was another fumble after the opening kickoff, so manager Dan Campbell can’t be satisfied with his special team unit.
