Chiefs’ Chris Jones explains emotional bursts of tears during the national anthem
If there is one safe bet that anyone can make before Super Bowl LIXwhich is when the emotions of the players and coaches go high after waking up in the morning throughout the game.

He explained to reporters why he was crying that week.
“A simple story. I was watching the movie “300.” One of my favourite movies, just before they go to the fight, you cry because they’re so mad,” he said. “I’m actually going to go into that mind frame in the sense of playing football. I might not go home tonight. I know I’m going home, but I know I’m going to war. It’s It will be bloody. It will be physical.
“So, in the midst of the national anthem, I have to put myself in that mind frame.”
