Chisora Victorious: Wallin’s stumbling claim
Otto Warrin sounded really disappointed about his loss to Derek Chisora in the IBF heavyweight title Eliminator at Co-op Live Arena in Manchester, England on Saturday night.
Warrin’s view
Warrin said he felt his toes caused him knockdown in the ninth and 12th. That seemed to be the case, but Judge John Latham eliminated him.
Warrin (27-3, 15 KOs) would still have lost as he had taken a big shot from Chisora (36-13, 23 KOs), and he had no power to have the answer did. He caused much damage to Chisora’s face around both eyes, and his mouth was swollen.
Derek blamed the cut and swelling from the head collision. It looked like a punch from Warrin had caused damage. He slammed Chisora frequently enough with his straight left and jab, causing his face to be as if he was a loser in the fight that followed.
It wasn’t a head collision that did it on Chisora’s face. Those were punches. He can’t keep taking those shots in the next fight. If you’re Chisora, you have to say something about why his face looks like a shaman tank. When using the old head crash excuse on the fan, there was no headbutt. The cut and swelling came from the left hand that Warrin was attacking him.
Many fans chose 34-year-old Warrin (27-3, 15 KOs) to defeat Chisora (36-13, 23 KOs) based on his youth, technical ability and amateur background.
The scores were 114-112, 116-110, and 117-109.
“I tried. He’s a tough guy. Derek is 41. He’s a tough guy,” Otto Warrin said. IFL TV After a fierce defeat with Derek Chisola on Saturday night in Manchester.
“I admire him so much. I was a bit balanced (with knockdown). He probably hit me at the same time. I’m a southpaw and sometimes your feet get intertwined. , you lose your balance. I don’t know why. You have to look at the tape.
“He has good power. He is one of the biggest punchers I’ve been with. I tried it. It wasn’t my night. Derek had a great fight. He was solid. It’s a fighter plane. I want to thank you all for your support,” Wallin said.
Warrin wasn’t saying what he was trying to do now, as this defeat was terrible because the old low-level fighter beat him. His previous losses were to Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury. You can make an excuse to lose to those people, but it’s not Chisora.
