CNN White House correspondent has been removed and promotes Luigi Mangion’s Defense Fund after backlash


CNN Chief White House correspondent Kaitlan Collins appears to have deleted the social media post after receiving backlash after coming to promote the defense fund of Luigi Mangione, a suspected Unitedhealthcare CEO Killer.

In X’s post, Collins provided a link to a new website launched by Mangion’s defense attorney. Miller also called Collins to remove the post with “no explanation” and said, “I don’t think it was related to the White House correspondent.”

Wmal host Larry O’Connor commented on the situation, saying Collins “uses a considerable platform to promote the linking of cold-blooded killers’ defense funds.”

“She hasn’t apologized yet and hasn’t posted anything else within 24 hours,” he added.

Some users have suggested that Collins should lose his press qualifications and access to the White House.
