CNN’s Anderson Cooper called out to misunderstand City Hall guests
CNN Anchor Anderson Cooper was called to mislead audience members at the City Hall event on Wednesday Senator Bernie Sanders, I-Vt.
While introducing the audience’s questions to progressive lawmakers, Cooper called the person “she” and urged the individual to correct him before reaching the question.
“They/they are pronouns, actually. Thank you,” said the person. anchorprobably indicates a non-binary identification.

Cooper made a suspicious error while reintroducing Sanders after a commercial break during the program.
“And come back for our live CNN Town Hall. I’m back with Senator Bernie Sanders. I want to introduce you to Grace Thomas. She’s a local civil rights lawyer. She’s a Democrat. Grace,” he said.
Thomas corrected him and urged Cooper to answer “Yes.” Thomas then laughed and moved on to gender-related questions.
“Good evening, Senator Sanders. The voting and turnout data show that men from all racial demographics are far from. Democrats. But of course, white men in particular don’t feel that the DNC messages are targeting them with issues they care about. ”
The non-binary person asked, “Do progressive campaigns need to create policies and messages to better encapsulate these voters? And if the answer is yes, how do you do that without abandoning marginalized and gendered voters?”

Sanders responded by promoting his progressive policy stance, helping Democrats speed up economic issues and helping the working class strengthen party support amid diverse conditions.

The exchange has sparked talk on social media, with prominent X users laughing at Cooper for FLUB.
Conservative influencer Colin Lagg shared a clip of the exchange, and wrote in a sarcasm about his own ‘New: CNN’s Anderson Cooper will be corrected after misinterpreting a civil rights lawyer at a town hall event with Bernie Sanders.
Former NCAA swimmer and women’s rights activist Riley Gaines had fun with Cooper saying, “I’m asking Anderson Cooper to step down immediately to believe that he believes what he saw.”

Conservative columnist Tim Young said, “We can’t stop laughing at this attention for the left who fixes Anderson Cooper with her pronouns. “They/they actually… “The Democrats will never win another election again.”
