Conor Benn roasted fans for an unfair WBC Welterweight title

Connor Ben is roasted by fans today on social media saying he wants “That WBC world title.Perhaps Ben (23-1, 14 KO) refers to the WBC welterweight title held by Mario Barrios. This is the most achievable for Connor.

Ben’s best chance to win the title shot for the WBC belt is when Turki Alalshikh is throwing weight behind it by funding the fight. Like Devin Haney, if Ben doesn’t beat one of the belt’s stopping candidates, fans will laugh at his unfair title shot.

However, he deserves to fight for the WBC welterweight title and did nothing given his weak resume. If Ben is given a title shot, it depends on the angle of business. For popularity, having a fighter jet give a title shot will make the sport cheaper.

Fans don’t think Ben will have the opportunity to fight for the WBC 147-lb title anytime soon. Barrios is scheduled to defend against 46-year-old Manny Pacquiao on July 19th.

If Pacquiao gets that belt, he’ll hope to fight Devin Haney or Ryan Garcia on the title defense. These two are much more popular than Connarben.

It’s clear why Benn is targeting WBC titles. There’s more money for him to make, especially if Pacquiao is filming the belt next month. Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis has also won the IBF and WBA Welterweight titles.

The IBF ordered Paddy Donovan and Lewis Crocker to fight in the title eliminator. That fight is expected to be for vacant IBF titles. WBA’s regular “Welterweight Champion Rorys” Rory “Romero” is considered to be promoted to full WBA Championship status and must defend against expired forced challengers. Shafram Zyasov.

Again, Ben is not made near the same money he’s fighting for the IBF or WBA belt. If Giyasov wins the WBA title, it’s a fighter who Ben struggles to try to beat. He was much more skilled than Connor and outlined him like Eubank Jr.
