Country music star Randy Travis continues to launch new music using AI

Randy Travis is tilted artificial intelligence (AI) Continuing to produce new music after more than a decade of fatal stroke.
2013, Travis’ stroke I left him with aphasia. This is a loss of the ability to understand or express speech.
With the help of AI and country musician James Dupre, Travis was able to produce two new songs in 2024 from his strokes “from there.” He has been on a “More Life Tour” since last spring, and has recently been extended until fall 2025.

What is Artificial Intelligence (AI)?
“People just plug it into a computer and spit out songs, they’re not creativity. It wasn’t too far from the truth. It took 11 months. When most people made an album, we did one song,” she told the outlet.

“Landy’s longtime producer, Kyle Lening, sent live vocals for roughly 45 Randy songs to London, where he was modeled using a vocal line provided by country music singer James Dupre.
“When we returned from London, Kyle and Randy put a spell in the studio to complete the song and tweaked it to make sure his tone, intuition, everything was like Randy sings.

She added, “Hopefully we’ll set a precedent for what AI is being used.”
Thanks to AI, Travis was able to return to tour. Dupre has joined him on tours and supports him as a special guest vocalist. About the legend of music “More Life Tour” kicked off last spring.
When Garden & Gun asked Randy how excited he was to extend the tour, he smiled and said, “Yeah, yeah.”
“He loves to be with his fans. He loves the energy of the stage. People always ask if it’s difficult to hear his music played by others.

“In 2013, it wasn’t something we couldn’t perceive on the horizon. AI came out so fast and furiously. When Chris Lacey approached it at Warner, it was exciting. I wanted to hear that voice more than anything else.
“Randy has always been a pioneer in music. When you think of Toby Keith’s songs, you think, ‘Don’t let the old man in,’ and that’s Randy Travis. He hasn’t let the old man in. He’s going to continue to think about what he can do to make a difference for us.”

In 2023, Randy and Mary spoke with Fox News Digital about his condition. Tribute concert, He also raised funds for the Randy Travis Foundation. The Foundation focuses on supporting stroke and aphasia awareness and music education in schools.
“We want people to understand that there are stroke, stroke rehabilitation, and post-stroke life,” Mary said at the time. “We’ve all the rehabilitation we’ve experienced, life is the best rehabilitation. Just go out there. Do what you did. You might be wondering why you’re here, but you just go out there, dance like no one is watching, everyone has a good time, it’s really the best treatment.”

Mary also cited her and Randy’s faith as helping them work through recovery.

“He’s very loyal,” she said. “We are leaning hard towards God. It’s been ten years since we had a stroke. It’s hard to believe… There’s really no words, and there’s no day when we’re not grateful for God’s grace and mercy.”
