Dallas Cowboys Wide receiver Kavontae Turpin was arrested in Texas on Saturday on marijuana and weapons charges.
The Dallas speedy receiver and return specialist faces misdemeanor charges after being arrested and booked at the Colin County Jail. Dallas Morning News.
Turpin faces possession of marijuana and illegally carrying a weapon, both of which are misdemeanors in Texas. Jail records also confirm that Turpin was released from prison on Sunday.
