Crows begins construction of a new trading unit at Studbrook Business Park
Clowes Developments, a UK-based real estate investment development company, has begun construction of a new trade counter unit at Studbrook Business Park in Castlendington, UK.
In partnership with ROE Development, the company is pushing for the next phase of the business park after securing approval from the North West Restortarshire District Council.
This new phase will involve the development of five trade counters, warehouses and industrial units ranging from 3,229 to 4,606 feet respectively.
To be located in Plot 1 of the Business Park, the new unit was built around the operational Starbucks drive-thru and is located near the recently opened local area in Sainsbury.
According to Clowes Developments, the site is directly accessible via Castle Donington Bypass, providing important parking facilities, making it a desirable site for potential tenants.
The development is part of a broader strategic plan aimed at expanding the park primarily to accommodate counter-operator trade.
ROE Development works in a 30-week program and oversees construction as a major contractor. The completion and delivery of these units is expected around the second half of 2025, with tenants expected to begin operations in early 2026.
“We’ve been working hard to get the most out of our business,” said James Richards, Director of Clowes Development.
“Its key location and excellent facilities make this phase set to attract high-quality occupants. With continued collaboration with IMA architects and local stakeholders, the scheme supports both commercial needs and the wider Castle Donington community.”
Last month, Clowes Developments announced that Phase 1 of Stud Brook Business Park has achieved actual completion. The initial phase featured industrial and distribution units ranging from 8,500 to 30,000 feet.
The first-stage units have been handed over to players from a variety of industries, including Argon Medical and Butcher, who have completed fitouts with the aim of being fully operational by mid-2025.
