As Israeli-Iran’s conflict intensifies, most focuses on traditional battlefields: air, land and oceans. However, this battle is also unfolding on digital battlefields. The Israeli government has never officially confirmed its ties with the group, but Israeli media says Gongeshke Dalande is “linked” to the country.

Rabib admits that human lives are not lost on the digital battlefield, but can be destroyed there by bad actors. He said similarities between traditional and financial terrorism are clear. Maritistic actors target groups, and the victims are often innocent consumers who have just trusted their funds in unprepared custodians.
“In the US alone, people are scamming $53 billion a year,” Rabib said. “This is a very surprising number, and it rings like church bells on Sundays, but law enforcement clearly hasn’t intervened in the game because we’ve seen these cases, 6,000 new cases every day.”
