“Okay. I’m a player, but at the same time I know what you feel. I know that this club is thirsty to win and everyone wants to win. We’re not talking about the cup, we know that it’s important to win the trophy – but it’s the big trophy that brought this club what it is. .
“I think we can win the Premier League with this manager, but at the same time we need to create an environment where everything is set up for what he wants for the player. We need to adapt to the system as well. It will take time.
“Obviously, we can’t think too far ahead of it, but I’m really sure how he does himself, how he communicates with players, the idea that he has… We can do that.
“It’s the most difficult part now, but I think I’ll get a big trophy with this manager because I’m really honest and positive about it.”

United have been heavily criticised for their performance this season, and Amorim himself has admitted that the current crop could be the worst in the club’s history.
However, the 25-year-old says there are also signs that Amorim will get them on the right course in the near future.

“But we also know that we have a lot of responsibility and need to do something much better than we’ve done in the last few games.
“Because there are a few moments that showed us that we can be a good team. That managers can do what we want to do. We’re just trying to find that consistency.”
