De Bruyne helps Guardiola men squeeze out after a massive fear
Pep Guardiola had to resort to Manchester City’s big guns.
League One Side took a 40-minute lead following Stefan Ortega’s own goal, but the lucky equalizer followed by the glow of Jack Grail and Kevin De Bruin.
Guardiola nominated a highly varied lineup that included debutants Vitr Reis and Nico Gonzalez, both of which were dragged out on a break, and Gonzalez limped 22 minutes later.
The latter was forfeited in an Orient build-up to goal, losing to Sony Perkins and injured after allowing Jamie Donley to try an ambitious 45-yard chip on Ortega.
The ball clipped the underside of the bar and slammed German backtracking into his legs before crossing the line.
The city provided a fleeting moment by reaction before luck changed into the second half as the ball substituted and entered Abdukodil Kusanov.
Then Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher saw it and grabbed the winner courtesy of Belgian Star de Bruin.

Home defender Dan Hatte was supposed to be equal in the final minute, but he burned a wide volley from six yards.
The city has shook
In the first half, he would not have been able to play Orient with boss Richie Wellnes.
Orient may have moved on from their first serious attack three minutes later. The lively Charlie Kelman performed with Jack Curry in the bottom left, and his low cross was partially dealt with by Nico O’Reilly before the referee blows for a foul.

City huffed and bulged in search of the equalizer, but lacked the physical presence of the missing Erling Haaland.
Donley shot Bernardo Silva down the line, while Omar Marmash raked volleys from his heels, allowing homekeeper Josh Keely to save his routine.
Halftime changes will have an impact
Guardiola’s halftime change featured Kusanov and John Stones, providing visitors with greater stability in the back, and Orient seemed happy to sit and sit.
Gundogan saw the shots blocked like Marmash, and James McAtee’s efforts hit the outside of the right post.

Impressed when he returned to the starting line, Grelish played the fantastic ball on the left channel, and DeBruin cherished the moment from Keely to pass the goalkeeper and clip the ball.
