De La Jolla claims “dangerous” Ryan Garcia will return despite layoffs
Promoter de la Joya said tonight that Ryan Garcia will be a “very dangerous” fighter when he returns the ring on May 2nd with a New York Torki Al Sheikh card .
Fans say Dela Hoya is more “Ryan is moreDangerous” Because he finished a 13-month long layoff and tested positive for PED, which was banned in his final fight with Devin Haney on April 20th.
“Dangerous” claim
Kingley looked tattered as he took a photo this week with his new trainer, Eddie Reynoso. Some fans believe he has been partying too many times since he fought his honey.
Garcia (24-1, 20 KO) is expected to use the previous WBA light welterweight champion Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero As tune-up opponents, and Devin Haney vs Jose Ramirez, are on the undercard.
Fighting a cupcake like Rory would look particularly dangerous for Ryan, as this guy wasn’t world class and was knocked out by Isaac Cruz last year. A better test of whether Ryan is “dangerous” is when he matches up with good people like Jose “Raio” Valenzuela or Richardson Hitchens.
“His next fight will be somewhere around May. Oscar de la Jolla will finish his annual suspension and Dazun about Ryan Garcia’s next fight in New York. He told Boxing: “Turki Al-Sheikh wants to put together the biggest equality in boxing.
“We’re clearly with him. We look forward to Turki Al-Sheikh’s decision to do Ryan Garcia and us as promoters. Ryan Garcia is ready to return. He is hungry, he cannot wait.
“I’m telling you, Ryan Garcia, when he put Devin Haney in the box, he was a very dangerous Ryan Garcia. But this time he was on a year off. So I’m going to see the very, very dangerous Ryan Garcia on top of that ring every time he fights, because he’s really hungry.” De La Joya.
