Dead California man, car parts 1,000 feet below the South Rim in Grand Canyon
Search crew recently found the body of a California man Grand Canyon National Park.
A spokesman for the National Park Service said the man, who has not yet been identified, was found on February 10 near the Yabapai Geological Museum.
At about 8am, the park received reports of broken rock walls and car parts scattered east of the museum.

Air search Grand Canyon Aviation staff and crew discovered that the vehicle and the 20-year-old man were 1,000 feet below the edge.
A team of four responders, supported by air personnel, managed to retrieve their bodies.
Usually, 10-15 deaths are reported in the park every season.

The Colorado man was found dead in Grand Canyon National Park.
“The trail crew in the Facilities Maintenance Department will repair damaged rock walls near Yabapai Geological Museum in the coming days,” park officials wrote in a statement. Fox News Digital.
Visitors should expect a temporary bypass around the work area until February 26th.

The investigation is currently underway in conjunction with the Coconino County Medical Examiner’s Office.
