Democrats say students don’t have teachers under his education plan
A Democrat said in an interview Monday that children will not be served lunch and that if President Donald Trump and Elon Musk’s government efficiency is given way, they will be in teacherless classrooms.
“That’s a word you have to leave… your child may be in a classroom that doesn’t have a teacher,” D-Conn. Rep. Rosa Delauro said Ana Cabrera in her report on MSNBC.
Trump, who campaigned to eliminate the Department of Education in the 2024 presidential election, called for help Elon MuskFounder and CEO of SpaceX and Tesla Inc. Review the efficiency of its agents. Trump is expected to issue an executive order calling for the repeal of the department.
On Friday, Democrats surrounded the Department of Education and protested the Trump administration over a “lack of transparency,” but were denied entry due to security.

During an interview with CNN, Delauro said students cannot have lunch at school under Trump.
“The other part is the rage of the American people,” Delauro said. “And when you think about the legal issues you have, you have to think about what you know about the impact on American families. You’re educated and at school. I’m considering denying lunch.”
She also said that special needs students will suffer and Congress will fight to stop the Trump administration.

“Council will not make this a success,” Delauro said. “And the courts are important… We’re not trying to sue, but we’re working with the organisations that are filing the lawsuit.”
