Disney Parks generates $67 billion each year as Disneyland celebrates its 70th anniversary


Disneyland Park is celebrating its 70th anniversary, and the company that launched the magic shares details on its economic impact in the US

Disney Parks Coast-to-Coast generates nearly $67 billion a year, supporting more than 400,000 direct and indirect employment, according to a new report produced by Tourism Economics, a division of Oxford economics.

“Disney defines the entertainment business that was a themed in America, and our presence is felt all over the country,” said Josh Damaro, chairman of Disney Experience, in a statement. “Our destinations create an economy far beyond our park gates and continue to grow when we invest in groundbreaking experiences only Disney can offer.”

In Central Florida, one out of eight jobs means that it is due to Disney. The company said. One in 32 people statewide.

Magic Kingdom in Florida And Disneyland in California is the number one and the most visited theme park in the world, Disney said.

The Disneyland Resort’s 70th celebration featured many new entertainment products, including daytime and night parades, fireworks, projections and waterworks.
