Dodge Chair Joni Ernst as Trump’s managers cut spending significantly
Senate Government Efficiency (DOGE) Caucus Chairman Joni ErnstR-Iowa said he is talking to billionaire Elon Musk, who lined up with Trump every few days.

Meanwhile, Republicans are rooting for the initiative. Ernst, for example, told Fox News Digital that Doge’s actions have been “extraordinary” up until now.
As for criticism of how Doge staff are auditing and how they can access it, Iowa Republicans argued that it is completely legal in her opinion. “It’s an administrative agency, and they’re scrutinizing the administrative agency, so of course it’s legal,” she said.
