Dodgers broadcaster Orel Hersher cultivates a scandal of stealing the Astros sign in Houston’s historic defeat over Los Angeles

Los Angeles Dodgers Pitching Great Orel Hersher opened up an old wound Friday night when he nurtured the Houston Astros sign-styling scandal in the team’s historic 18-1 defeat at Dodger Stadium.
Astros The show was held between the two teams at the series opener on Friday night, handing Los Angeles the worst loss in Dodger Stadium history. The beatdown was so bad that Herscissor, now a Dodgers broadcaster, appeared to suggest a foul play.

“I don’t want to open up old wounds, but in a way, they’re swinging these broken balls like they know what’s coming,” Hersher said in three innings after Astros outfielder Cam Smith doubled Dodgers rookie Ben Caspalius.

Hershiser mentioned Astros’ 2017 World Series I’ll beat the Dodgers. It was later revealed that Houston was with the help of a video to steal the sign and broadcast the pitch to batters by hitting the trash can.
Jose Altuve, a member of that championship-winning team, met the relentless “con man” chant and boo during his at-bat. However, the home crowd did not deflect him as he reached base five times and appeared on the home twice while driving on five runs.

“Yeah, that was something I wanted to wash away as quickly as possible. I don’t think there’s been a lot of positives from this night,” Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said frankly of 17 shortfall losses.
“I don’t think Ben (Casparius) was good tonight. They seemed to be in everything he threw tonight.”
Caprius allowed six runs and nine hits in three innings, hitting the three innings.

Roberts said Friday that Caprius is likely to return to the bullpen.
“At the end of the day, he has to do a better job. There could have been 60 throws tonight, and maybe it was only being executed where he wanted it. That’s difficult,” he said.
