Does Teofimo Lopez advertise Richardson Hitchens for free? Fans doubt his intentions

The callout for Teofimo Lopez’s IBF light welterweight champion Richardson Hitchens has been skeptical by fans after his victory over George Cambosos Jr. last Saturday night.

Teofimo hijacked Hitchins moment

Some fans consider Lopez as an a Despicable spider He used the Hitchens spotlight (20-0, 8 KOs) to hijack his moment by entering the ring after a knockout of Cambosos and getting free publicity for himself.

Richardson is desperate for a big fight

The 27-year-old Hitchens is so desperate to fight the notable fighter jets that Lopez was giving the ring a Prince and pioneering his career by winning a down-and-out veterinarian, Cambosos Jr. (22-4, 10 KOs).

After the fight, Hitchens called out Devin Haney, not Lopez. Theo should not even be put in the ring. Again, Richardson is so desperate to fight the fighters that he has Teofimo walked from the blue to the ring so before the match with Cambosos he doesn’t say he wants to face him next.

“An incredible performance by Richardson Hitchens. A great performance. I think everyone needs to see the fight against Theofimo. Let’s make that happen,” said Theofimo Lopez. Fighting Hub TVexpresses his interest in fighting the unification contest with Richardson Hitchens. “I want to do everything. I want boxing to be great again. Anything the fans want. I’m #1, I’m baby.”

Lopez’s unreliable callout history

Lopez has a history of calling for fighter jets and not following on. I saw it on Haney and Subriel Matias. Hitchens should have ignored him and kept calling Haney. But that was a waste of time for the Hitchens. Because the chances of that fight happening are Turki Aralsif slimmer without coming up with the money to make it.

The fabric that Haney gained in May last year for his tune-up fight with Jose Ramirez would have ruined him. If Turki is not involved, he is not going to agree to $1-2 million for a fight with the Hitchens. That would be a dramatic wage cut from the $10 million he fought against Ramirez.

“You can’t do the same thing as my son. He understands you,” he spoke about Richardson Hitchens, about Theofimo Lopez Sr. after beating George Cambosos Jr. last Saturday night. “So he went there trying to fight the Hitchens. You know, he’s calling Devin Haney, so I don’t know. I think he (Richardson) should have his next fight with my son.”

The move Hitchens uses will be a problem for Theofimo, who is struggling with the mover. Jamaine Ortiz and Sandor Martin had spiritually united Lopez in their battle at 140.

Teo Sr. pushes the battle for Hitchens

“He’s calling Devin Haney. I don’t know. If you want to be King of New York, you have to fight my son. We have to fight my son. We have got the direct (title) and that’s the best. He (Hitchins) is supposed to be looking for the best.

The reason Hitchens is focused on fighting Haney is because he is likely to see the contest as likely to negotiate. It’s also easy for Hitchin. Devin was fired in his final battle with Jose Ramirez on May 2nd and ran around the ring all night. Richardson could win that battle in bulk than he would have fought Theofimo.

“Let’s see what happens. The fight isn’t certain. Let’s find out what happens by next week. We can go by 154. My son is roaming around at the age of 154. We can fight at 147 or 154. Final message to Hitchens.

Fans believe Teofimo is unreliable and will change their minds about fighting Hitchin if he pursues the fight. If Hitchens is stupid enough to agree to the fight, he could wind up empty-handedly when Lopez suddenly retreats from negotiations, like Devin Haney.
