Jace also shared that Zack recently visited Phil and had a difficult time. The condition of the fill.

“I pulled it out when the backpack came out…and I was like, ‘How are you going?'” he recalled. “And Zack just lost it, and I realized the moment you’re in these fights, the kind of compartmentalizing everything so you can deal with it.”

“We’re making him comfortable and we’re trying our best possible, and I think that’s what you’re doing,” Jace said.

Zach also experienced the effects of Alzheimer’s disease with his own mother. He said the visit was difficult because he had not seen Phil for a while and his decline seemed more intense than his immediate family’s daily experiences.

“I think you’re watching the fade when you’re there, like you do. But I haven’t seen or seen him for a few months, so I’m coming in and it’s like, ‘Oops,'” he said.

“I said a lot about this Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. But anyone in our audience who has experienced it… I think this will resonate with them – we talk a lot about how it steals the memories of people who are sick,” he said.

Zack continued. “But for me, I also steal memories of those who care for people with this disease, because this slow progression can be seen over time and it’s hard to see.”

“We appreciate your prayers,” Jace said of pouring support from family, friends and fans.

Willie RobertsonPhil’s son also spoke to Fox News Digital on the phone at the time, revealing that Phil is “fighting a lot of different things now.”

“He has a blood disorder and then he has mental problems that could lead to early (onset) Alzheimer’s… and perhaps some ministrokes for his blood,” Willie explained. “So, it could be a stroke that happened. So we’re still checking everything. But he also has a back problem. He has a broken back and that’s where it hurts.
