Eat movie popcorn from Jaws’ head, but the price of $45 will ring your wallet

Cinemas have been improving their snacking experience with collectable popcorn buckets for years, but one summer product takes a bloody bite from your budget. Theatre chain Alamo Drafthouse celebrates the 50th anniversary of the jaw with a limited edition shark-shaped popcorn bucket, and costs a whopping $45 for 11 inches.

Jaw’s Bucket is now Sold out onlinehowever, interested buyers who have a lot of cash can sign up to be notified when restocking. It is one of the better buckets of recent years, featuring the famous blues Great White shark in his jaw with a surprising, jaw, wide open, and popcorn place where little Kintner boy ends up in the film. If you’ve never seen the movie since 1975, I think it’s a spoiler.

Specialized popcorn buckets began in 2019 and quickly proved to be a big company. These special products not only serve as concrete memories of beloved films and events, but have proven important to revenue. AMC Entertainment is just racked at about $65 million in revenue Last year, thanks to novelty popcorn buckets, drink sippers and t-shirts.

Taylor Swift-themed Popcorn bucket remembers the Viral Sandwolm Popcorn Bucket during the theatrical release of the 2023 ERAS Tour movie, or in honor of Dunes: Part 2 in 2024. Currently, studios and theatres want to keep trending with their upcoming summer blockbusters.

Regarding the 50th anniversary of Jaws, Alamo Drafthouse is home to the Austin, Texas theater chain and also hosts special screenings, including a water event at Vineyards in Massachusetts, where she filmed her jaws at Martha’s Vineyards, Massachusetts.

Similarly, Universal Studios, the studio behind Jaws, marks milestones with exclusive products available in the park, including shark-themed drinking cups and apparel. Jaws will be streamed on Peacock from June 15th and will return to theaters nationwide from August 29th to September. 4.
