Eddie Hearn I Ennis – Norman Jr. unification after tonight’s match.
Promoter Eddie Hearn hopes IBF welterweight champion Jaron “Boots” Ennis will face WBO champion Brian Norman Jr. if he wins tonight in a unified match against WBA belt holder Imantas Stanionis from Atlantic City, New Jersey.

However, Hahn says his WBA-music fighter Shafram Zyasov deserves his shot to the winner of Ennis Stanionis. Giyasov (16-0, 9 KOS) stepped aside tonight to have Stanionis fight the boots. It’s difficult for him to put aside the second time as the Boots fights unification with WBO champion Norman Jr.
Prices for Zyasov
It can be done with the amount beside the correct step. If Giyasov is offered a bundle of money that he cannot refuse, he may be willing to allow Ennis to proceed with a unified clash with Brian Jr. if he wins against Stanionis tonight.
“It’s difficult because we also represent Shafram (Jyasov). He understood the magnitude of this fight for the sport,” Eddie Hearn said. YSM Sports Media WBA challenger Shafram Zyasov is stepping aside to allow WBA welterweight champion Aymantas Stanionis to fight IBF belt holder Jaron “boots” Ennis in tonight’s unified match.
This is the overall issue of hoping that the boots will remain at 147 until they achieve their superficial goal of becoming an indisputable champion. It will take Ennis forever to achieve that goal, and it is rare that he will not be able to gain popularity from capturing all four titles.
Boots’ defense against Giyasov eats up the second half of 2025. After that, there’s the wait for Ennis to set up a unified match against WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios, who can compete with 46-year-old Manny Pacquiao. That’s when we go down further down the drain for Ennis.
“He (Jiyasov) has a winner now. So will there be an opportunity to fight Brian Norman? Shakram is waiting again? It’s difficult because he has his shot. We have to offer him the opportunity too. I don’t know.
If Stanionis wins tonight, he will proceed with his defense against Zyasov rather than paying him a step aside. Ultimately, it will come down to money being at stake for a match against Norman Jr. and a rematch with Ennis. Hahn doesn’t want to escape to Stanionis without pushing an immediate rematch if he defeats Ennis tonight.
Hahn’s priorities
“If he wins (against Stanionis), I think he wants a lot of wins. I’ve heard rumors about the (WBC welterweight champion Mario) Barrios against Pacquiao. So what is the WBC world title?
“It’s a great fight for me, but we’re past (boots) (Stanionis). This is the toughest battle in the Division, so if we get through it, we’ll see what’s united next,” Hearn said.
