Edgar Berlanga blows up Caleb plants for the “disgraceful” opponent’s choice, calling him “disgraceful to boxing.”

Edgar Berlanga roasts the Caleb factory at X today and responds to him, choosing Jose Armando Ressendis from the bottom rank to fight at PBC next month on May 31st. Prime Video.

The plants (23-2, 14 Kos) covered the Berlanga for battle. He chose #15 WBA Resendiz (15-2, 11 Kos) to face him, leaving him wide open to be dumped in the boxing world with Edgar. This guy was recently knocked out by Elijah Garcia.

Opponent selection

Berlanga had a lot to say about the choice of the plant’s enemy. He says it’s “sad” that “Sweethands” is fighting non-contenders. This choice hurts Caleb’s ability to continue to drive his fight against Berlanga. Because if he fights guys like Rescent and Trevor McCumby, he doesn’t have the ability to claim he deserves a fight.

“All s*** sweethands plants were talking. Now he’s not ranked and fighting the outlook that has two losses. You’re dishonored to boxing. Man, that’s f***** sad!” Edgar Berlanga said. xRoasting WBA interim super middleweight champion Caleb Plant won Jose Armando Resendiz, who ranked #15 in the next fight on May 31, rather than one of the top five killers of 168.

Last week, Plant said his management sent a contract to Berlanga but he had never heard of anything. Edgar said he hadn’t sent a contract, but if he wants to fight, he could pocket $30 million and take $200,000. Berlanga is waiting for the smoke to clear up from the rematch between Jaime Munguia vs Brunko Sulas 2 on May 3rd. If he wins, he wants to fight Munguia next.

Although Plant may not select the enemy, he clearly has some things about who he will fight, and he was able to reject this choice in favor of one of the top five candidates.

However, after the way the plant was seen in his final battle in the fourth by Fringe candidate Trevor McCumby, it makes sense that he is picking up from the bottom of the barrel in a battle with Resendiz.
