Emiliano Grillo’s hole-in-one at the famous 16th hole at Phoenix Open Spark


The crowd at the 16th hole Waste management is open I had itching for reasons to celebrate.

And Emiliano Grillo’s hole-in-one on Friday in the second round gave fans of golf’s slowest holes a reason to become wild.

From 155 yards, Grillo dunked the ball into the hole just as neatly as curry nails a deep three-pointer. The ball was rattling around the hole, but never hit a green.

As the ball hit the hole, chaos continued.

Grillo flips the club into the air and doesn’t know what to do. I ran around the teebox before embracing my leap in the air with fellow golfer Rafael Campos.
