Erislandirara vs. Yoenri Hernandez: The Canelo Skull Undercard Eye

Eris Landirara vs. Joenling Hernandez was able to add to the Canelo Alvarez vs. William Skull undercard on May 3 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This matchup between the two former Cuban amateur talents adds value to the growing crowd of Cardriad seasons and could be a more entertaining battle than the main event.

WBA middleweight champion Lara (31-3-3, 19 Kos) will be making his belt’s fourth defense in 2021. Hernandez (7-0, 7 KOs) will be the toughest test for the 41-. This guy is a big puncher, fighting at a high level, and is much younger at 27, so if this fight was made it, it’s one year old Lara.

Cuba Clash

“Another battle under consideration in #Caneloscull on May 3rd is the duel between Ellis Landirara and Yoenri Hernandez in the middleweight division. The WBA World Championship has historic Cuba🇨🇺 vs. Cuba🇨🇺 It’s going to happen,” Salvador Rodriguez said. x.

South Polala has been on an easy path since winning the WBA belt in 2021. In his three defenses he was beaten Gary O’Sullivan, Michael Zerafah and Danny Garcia. It’s not exactly a killer line, but it reflects how weak the middleweight division is.

Yoenri Hernandez will take a big step in his class if the fight against Erislandi Lala takes place. In the recent battle of professional Hernandez for three years, he was beaten by the angels Luis Astorga, Bryce Henry and Jose Sanchez Charles. They all play a fight for Hernandez and are nowhere near Lara’s level.

As weeks and months go by, we expect additional battles to be added to this grown card. It’s no surprise that the event was stocked just like Riyadh’s February 22nd card.

The Canelo Skull card also features a rematch between super middleweight contenders Jaime Munguia and Bruno Sulas. The two who fought last December knocked out Munguia in the sixth round in front of fans in their hometown in Tijuana, Mexico. Munguia vs. Surace is a symbiosis during the Riyadh season on May 3rd.
