Even Vincent Company was a bit embarrassed by Bayern Munich’s 10-0 victory in Auckland City
Vincent Company admitted that his Bayern Munich side simply “does work” by brushing part-timers Auckland City at the Club World Cup this afternoon.
Bayern won 10-0 at Cincinnati In a game where he did little to silence critics of the expanded competition. The Gulf of class had Bayern scored four minutes later and camped the entire game at Auckland Half.
Jamal Musiala came out of the bench and scored a hat-trick, with Kingsley Coman, Michael Oris and Thomas Muller each netting twice.

After a record-breaking victory, Compani Cool
It was a totally false match, and even Bayern boss Company refused to go overboard at the finest for his players.
He said: “We don’t need that kind of praise now. We did the job. We played very seriously. We did what we had to do. Perhaps the difference in goals for this group doesn’t matter.
“It’s not surprising you scored 10 goals when your team is sitting deep and well. I couldn’t do anything more today.”
Muller’s second was his 250th in Bayern colour, preparing to leave the boyhood club at the end of the tournament.
The 35-year-old said, “We played a lot, played seriously, played with intensity. We didn’t let anything slip or leave anything behind by chance.
“We stayed actively in advance. We wanted to use the ball and create a next opportunity right away. So we got this result, including the scoreline.”
The TQL Stadium wasn’t full, but there were about 21,000 people in attendance, but Muller was impressed by the vote.
“We had fans who were really into the game, responding to the flow of play and celebrating their goals in particular,” he added.
“After my final goal, I had a great moment to celebrate with them. They were completely behind us. It was a lot of fun. And I have to say that the stadium was a proper football stadium.”

Vicelich is proud of his players
It was a tough afternoon for Auckland, but despite the obvious quality gap, he deserved great credibility in the battle until the very end.
Interim coach Ivan Biseric said: “This is the reality of football for one of the world’s top teams.
βThis is a dream for players to come to play from the amateur level in this environment.
“We knew it would be a very difficult game. We are truly proud of the efforts we make from players as it could be one of the top teams in the world and one of our favourites of the Club World Cup.”
