Everton and Liverpool release joint statements condemn racist abuse directed at Abdullaidukoule

Everton and Liverpool issued a joint statement condemning the abuse directed at blues midfielder Abdullaidukoule following last night’s Merseyside Derby.

Doucoure untook travel fans after James Tarkowski’s late equalizer, prompting a brawl with Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones, with both players showing red cards.

Reds boss Arne Slot was fired after the last whisper for what he said to referee Michael Oliver.

The incident preceded a wave of abominable messages aimed at former Mari International Doucoa.

The statement reads: “Liverpool FC and Everton FC are aware of the racist abuse Abdul Laidukour suffered following Wednesday night’s Merseyside Derby — and blamed it on the strongest possible conditions. Masu.

“Such abuse is being condemned, not tolerated, and should not be tolerated.

“The two clubs will work with Merseyside Police, which is conducting an investigation with the aim of identifying the person in charge.

“We also encourage people who witness or experience online abuse to report and emphasize it on the social media platforms where it appears.

“We all have to take a zero-tolerance attitude, including social media companies. Platforms need to take accountability and action to ban such abusers.

“Racism and hatred do not have an online place in the stadium or in the community.”
