“Exciting” Emery of Watkins Fitness for Rashford, Spurs Games and Champions League Snubs
Aston Villa Unai Emery is looking forward to the “exciting” challenge that will help Marcus Rashford sign its previous heights in January.
Rashford rented out the villa on loan from Manchester United on the last day of the window in January after being out of favor under Red Devils boss Reuben Amorim.
The 27-year-old hasn’t been featured in United since early December, and Amorim has questioned the forward’s commitment before switching to the second city.
However, his new manager, Emery, tells England International he is “very happy” and says he is eager to fire again.
“I’m very happy with him,” Emery said.
“The conversation we had was very normal, talking about football and what I wanted him.
“I think he still has a great chance, and I don’t want to know why he’s leaving Manchester United.
“I am very happy to have taken him here to help him recover his performance.
“My challenge with him is a huge challenge. His challenge with us is a very exciting challenge. I am very happy.”
