Fame, Cunha, Mbeumo’s Amorim
Manchester United manager Reuben Amorim called the “love” of working with players in the famous 3-4-2-1 formation, and since his famous arrival, Masteus Cunya and Brian Mbemo have found “really fun” characters in the dressing room.
Amorim has repeatedly defended his favorite tactics since joining United in November 2024, and has the opportunity to implement them with new players this season, including Cunha of £62.5 million and Mbeumo of £71 million on offense.
“I’m not a Manchester United coach, because of fame and that’s good,” Amorim told NBC Sports after beating West Ham 2-1 in New Jersey on Saturday.
“I really have ideas and I love training players. I really believe in my work. That’s the fun part. We have ideas and we try to use them every day.”
