Najmul Hossain Shanto I etched his name in the first book Bangladesh Captain registers for centuries in both innings of Test matches. His groundbreaking achievements came during the first tests ongoing Sri Lankain his sublime form, Bat led Bangladesh to a dominant position on the last day.

The second hundred of Shant came in the 85th of Bangladesh’s two innings and turned off a stylish reverse sweep Tharindu Ratnayake. Shortly after reaching the milestone, Shant began a quick assault, destroying three sixes and pushing Bangladeshi totals into 285/6 before declaring. In the rain hit test, play resumed in a timely manner, with Bangladesh making the most of the window to set Sri Lanka on its 296 targets, with limited time left in the match. Over the centuries of Shunt twins, he was the highlight of the innings, showing off his class, his calmness and his height development as a leader.
