The FBI is investigating allegations of sexual assault Carnival Cruise boat.

“FBI Houston is aware of allegations of sexual assault that occurred on a Carnival Breeze cruise ship docked to Galveston on July 28, 2010,” a FBI spokesman wrote. “As customary in crimes aboard cruise ships, the FBI Maritime Liaison Agent based at the Texas City Resident Agency is coordinated with the US Coast Guard (USCG), Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and cruise lines for the incident.

The FBI is also investigating deaths aboard the Carnival Dream, another Gavelston-based cruise ship.
A spokesman for the FBI Houston told Fox News Digital that the incident occurred on July 23rd.
According to a spokesman, it is “standard practice” for the FBI to investigate deaths occurring on cruise ships.

“This routine protocol guarantees transparency. It does not automatically imply a suspicious situation, and the facts of this issue do not suggest such an activity. We spread our sincere sympathy to the family and loved ones of our guests during this difficult time,” the spokesman added.
