FinTech and Payments Company Fiserv has signed a decisive agreement to purchase Brazilian fintech company Money Money Servicos Financeiros.

The acquisition is expected to expand Fiserv’s products in the Brazilian market and support small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).

The acquisition is expected to close in the second quarter of 2025 subject to standard closure conditions, including regulatory permits.

Money Money has developed a specialized fundraising engine that combines an interface with the Receivables Registry System, which was overseen by the Central Bank of Brazil.

This technology allows SMB to provide working capital and other financial solutions based on a detailed analysis of each business.

The acquisition is intended to support Clover’s strategy aimed at supporting Brazilian companies in order to help them grow by addressing payment processing, business management and cash flow challenges.

“Money-fueled Clover Capital will be integrated with the Clover Platform,” Fiserv said in a statement.

This includes leveraging risk analysis technology along with predictive analysis of client business performance to coordinate financial delivery on “competitive” terms.

The service advances to businesses as it protects its repayment plans for future sales.

Launched in Brazil in December, Clover offers payment solutions, cash flow support and a range of native applications.

It also offers a market with tools and systems from the Fiserv’s independent software vendor (ISV) network.
